Back in my day the very first words in the Duties of a Company Director from Companies House were.....
A Director will always Act in the Best Interest of the Company.
i've just been on Companies House website and it is now The Seven Duties of a Company Director.
The fourth of the Seven is below.
Exercise reasonable care, skill and diligence
There was a time when directors could be appointed purely for their name or reputation, without the expectation that they would actually do any work as a board member. Those days are now over due to the duty for directors to exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence in their role.
The benchmark is that of a reasonably diligent person with the general knowledge, skill and experience that could reasonably be expected from a person carrying out the director’s functions. Also, directors with specific professional training or skills (such as a lawyer or accountant) are held to a higher standard in related issues than less qualified colleagues.

It's got to be around a sale as these people add NO value to the board of a football club - bar maybe the financier.
Share movements to these characters will be interesting, maybe they think they can get round the profit share thing by diluting club ownership.
There will be a self-serving reason behind it though, of that there can be no doubt.

We are doing ok at the moment, sullivans thinking its time to milk the club for more money,when the fans are a bit happy. after 62 years watching westham i can tell you, it wont last. gsb out.if we have to we will start again.
